Maintenance Services

SERPENTINE BELT

Most new cars have one or two belts that drive the alternator, power-steering, air-conditioning, and sometimes the water-pump.  Most belts need changing around 60-75,000 miles or when they when they show signs of wear.

TIRE ROTATION

Most manufacturers recommend that the tires be rotated every 7500 to 15,000 miles to ensure even tire wear and optimal tire life.

TIRE ROTATION AND BALANCE

Tire rotation plus balancing the tires.  As the tires wear they may get unbalanced from uneven wear or other factors.  Balancing the tires will ensure longer tire life and the smoothest ride possible.

FUEL FILTER SERVICE

Most manufacturers recommend changing the fuel filter every 30,000 miles.  It filters out contaminants before they reach the engine and fuel injectors.  Today’s fuel injectors have tiny holes that can be plugged up by small particles.  A stopped up fuel filter can cause premature wear of the fuel pump as it must work harder.

MAINTENANCE TUNE UP

The maintenance tune up includes replacing the spark plugs.  Engine diagnostics, platinum or iridium spark plugs, plug wires extra.   Other services such as Fuel filter service and Fuel injection Service may be recommended to help return your car to its optimal performance.

AIR CONDITIONING SERVICE

Includes visual inspection of system, recover old refrigerant, vacuum the system to remove moisture, and charge system with R134 refrigerant.  Maybe extra charge for dye and extra refrigerant.  Test system to see that it is working properly and check for detectable leaks.  If leaks are detected, we will give and estimate for repair (ask your Auto Quick tech if your location does repairs).  If system has other problems such as electrical and engine cooling system problems additional charge may be required for diagnostics and repair.
